About Us
The Gower Riding Club, established in 1936, is proud to be the oldest civilian riding club on the UK mainland and is one of the largest in Wales, having been affiliated to the British Horse Society since 1960.
We are fortunate to own our own showground at Parkmill, in the heart of Gower, thanks to all the hard work of members, friends and families over very many years. During 2009 we managed to complete a very ambitious project: our very own 70mx50m all weather arena. We now offer members complete facilities. We have a wide selection of showjumps and a cross country course on site, which includes a water complex, steps, coffin and numerous other obstacles which we try to keep varied and interesting. We also have a clubhouse with in-house catering and washroom facilities. We are always looking to make further improvements and are open to ideas and suggestions.
A warm welcome awaits members, competitiors, judges, spectators and helpers alike so, please do come along to one of our events. We are very grateful indeed to our small team of regular helpers, whom without we could not run so many events. Any offer of help is always appreciated and we can provide informal training should you wish to assist. It can actually be good fun!
We look forward to seeing you soon.

"I just wanted to email and say thank you for a most enjoyable day today at the ODE. Was the first time I've been to anything organised by GRC and I was most impressed by the facilities you've got there, fantastic arena and a lovely cross country course" (Lydia Greenman)
